Community Service Alliance in the Dominican Republic
Peacework works to engage communities, academic institutions and corporations in innovative cross-sector solutions for sustainable development around the world, focusing on agriculture, business, education, engineering, health, public service and technology. Peacework has partnered with Community Service Alliance (www.csadr.org), a local non-profit based in the Dominican Republic, for over 10 years to support grassroots, locally-led initiatives to benefit women, at-risk youth and communities. Joint work has rendered successful women’s cooperative businesses, training of teachers in schools, provision of potable water for rural communities and support to community health programs. This partnership and your support will allow us to continue this important work in the Dominican Republic.
