Dedicated medical school or partner for health post
There is a lack of qualified health care providers and affordable health services in our partner's villages that are both a symptom of and exacerbates existing issues facing individuals living below or at the poverty line. For example, we have witnessed the shortage of adequate health care providers at the health post where we work in Etoko that is primarily staffed by a local volunteer, part-time doctor and one nurse that serves 23 surrounding villages. We are looking for a dedicated medical school partner to work with us in this area, providing greater, skilled human capital to better serve the local population’s health care needs.
