Peacework is collaborating with local partners on school construction projects in Katmandu and Baktapur. Peacework also supports an initiative that invests in community-based schools in return for sustained long-term scholarships for the neediest children in the area. Programs support women’s groups in alternative income generation, agriculture, micro-credit enterprises, social services, and vocational training.
