Expansion of tree nursery:
The project is in line with the groups' aim of environmental conservation. It is also an income generating activity. A solar powered well pump could provide water, as there are no close water sources. The pump would also provide water for the vegetable garden and for watering chicken, sheep, and cows. Working tools for the nursery are also needed.
Additional space and solar power source for poultry raising project:
The poultry-raising project provides a steady supply of protein for the community. There is a lack of space to accommodate the number of birds the group currently has. A heat source is necessary for the incubation of eggs. A solar power source for a heater would ensure a steady supply of warmth to facilitate egg incubation and decrease cost, as the current paraffin burning system is expensive.
