Through collaborative volunteer PW initiatives in Ghana, outreach to street children has enabled our partner organizations to better meet the needs of the children they serve. Weekly feeding programs, primary health care, poverty reduction, vocational training, youth empowerment, and child sponsorship for education are all a part of our ongoing program in Ghana. Peacework volunteers from Virginia Commonwealth University have made a long-term commitment to assisting our partners in Ghana. They have recently held a benefit concert to raise significant funds for our Ghanaian partners.
